2022 TESPI AWARDS, OLIO DANTE AWARDED FOR THE BEST CONSUMER PRESS CAMPAIGN

The award ceremony has been held yesterday at Cibus in Parma

“Best press campaign aimed at consumer”: this is the award just received by Olio Dante at 2022 Tespi Awards: the event – at its 14th edition, held by Edizioni Turbo by Tespi Mediagroup – is designed to emphasize the commitment of food companies, which have distinguished themselves in the design and manufacture of products, marketing and communication activities during 2021.

The award ceremony has been held yesterday in the Plenary Room of Fiere di Parma, in the occasion of Cibus. The jury – made up of 101 buyers of LD and OD, normal trade and sector operators – hosted as president Mr. Gabriele Nicotra, General Manager of Decò Italia.

Olio Dante received the award for the press campaign “Poetry to the table”, designed and developed by the Communication Agency Arcadia srl.  It was published in the weekly magazines of Cairo Editore, in occasion of the celebration for the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri. Olio Dante in fact – that has a “special” link with the Supreme Poet – has chosen to celebrate it with a limited edition label, thus bringing “Poetry to the table”.

Two products Dante Classico olive oil – n.1 in Italy among olive oils as a brand (Nielsen Data Q1’21) –  and Dante “100% Italiano” Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for the entire 2021 showed on the shelves a label including the QR Code: framing it, it has been possible to surf the dedicated webpage www.oliodante.com/en/poetry-to-the-table/ discovering more on the particular link between the brand and Dante Alighieri, with exclusive historical pictures.

Olio Dante owes its name to the Supreme Poet: when in 1898 the first shipments of oil went to North America, Argentina and Australia – countries in which a consistent flow of immigrants generated a huge request of national food – Giacomo Costa had an ambitious idea: bring a piece of Italy on the table all over the world. The idea to give to the exported product the name “Dante” was born with the aim to create a direct and immediate reminder to Italy.

So that, it is born the long story of Olio Dante: food is culture, weaving together ancient knowledge, traditions and passions. Bringing “Poetry to the table” is the mission that the brand still sets itself today.
