DANTE VIRGIN OLIVE OIL WINS THE “BETTER FUTURE AWARD”

The new Olio Dante product climbs to the top step of the podium in the “Oils and Condiments” category

Dante Virgin Olive Oil, the latest product launched by the Sannio-based company, won the “Better Future Award” for “Product Innovation – Oils, Vinegars, and Condiments”, a prize sponsored by the publications GDOWeek and Mark Up in collaboration with Tuttofood.

The awards ceremony was held yesterday, May 12, at the Innovation Corner (Hall 10) during the Tuttofood trade fair.

The technical jury deemed Dante Virgin Olive Oil the best product innovation in its category. The product will be on display for the entire duration of the trade fair (May 11-14) in the Better Future Arena, Hall 10, Stand L47. This represents a significant opportunity for visibility, thanks to which the company will also benefit from inclusion in the official Tuttofood new products catalog, with special mention to over 1,000 accredited journalists, as well as to over 4,000 top buyers from Italy and around the world participating in incoming programs.

Virgin Olive Oil, along with extra virgin olive oil, is part of the family of oils produced solely by mechanical pressing of olives. Olio Dante presents it on the shelves of large-scale retail outlets with an important advantage: a maximum natural acidity of 0.5% (like extra virgin), despite EU regulations setting a maximum acidity of 2% for virgin olive oils. The lower the acidity, the higher the quality of the oil. With more restrictive organoleptic parameters than its category, it is a blend of olive oils originating in the European Union. Its characteristics make it the perfect combination of convenience and versatility in the kitchen, being an everyday condiment suitable for all uses, particularly in cooking and making sauces.
